 This is what happens when you put yellow hydrangeas into violet water. Gorgeous!  How to? Easy... get a healthy hydrangea, make colored water using food coloring, recut the hydrangea stem, place it in the water, and let it drink for a few hours. I left mine over night.

 finally got around to making new business cards. The design on the back is from one of my favorite stylized flower shapes, (a hydrangea bloom); which I often use in my art and jewelry making.     I am very happy with how they turned out.   Pressed Hydrangea Petal Brooch.  Painting inspired by pressed hydrangea petals.  Pressed Hydrangea Petal Brooches. Will have all of these in the shop soon.  Painted Faux Diamond Brooch  Scarab Beetle Brooch  Cut, filed, and, sanded with pins soldered. Getting ready for the base coat. Can't wait to paint these lovelies.  Getting ready to cut.  After cutting, ready to file and sand; then on with the pin backs.  Almost ready to paint.
